Continuing Competence Program

About the Program

The College of Alberta Denturists’ regulated members are in a program that has a five-year reporting cycle, whereby the regulated members must obtain a minimum of 100 hours of College-approved continuing education in a five-year cycle. As well, each regulated member must obtain a minimum of 10 hours of approved continuing education each calendar year.

College of Alberta Denturists Continuing Competence Rules

The College of Alberta Denturists Continuing Competence Rules provides the regulated members with guidelines and rules related to the program. The College provides for approval of courses. Courses for approval must meet the requirements of the rules as requested by either a member or presenter.

The College of Alberta Denturists requires that regulated members submit their continuing competence on an ongoing basis. Completion of minimal annual continuing competence is a requirement for renewal of a practice permit for the upcoming year.
